It's being a giver and being stuck in between having too much to give, yet feeling like you're not giving enough or giving it to the wrong person.

It's a complicated situation when you know you're so full of love, but not wanting to seem like you're too 'needy' or responding to something that isn't there.

It's the heartbreaking truth of realizing maybe you're not enough for them, failing to realize you might be too much for them.

It's being convinced that if you give unconditionally without seizing that one day they'll return the favor.

It's failing to realize not everyone is meant for you.

It's understanding that sometimes in life you have to let go and move on.

It's realizing that you're all you need and you're enough to make yourself happy.

It's understanding that everything in life is a lesson.

It's categorizing your wants and needs, then understanding which is more important.

It's loving yourself and being happy, focused and content in all you have and all you receive.

It's loving every part of your existence and staying positive.

It's letting go of earthly pleasures and focusing on your God and knowing He has all you could ever need.

It's deciding to put your life in His hands and knowing that although it may seem like you're loosing everything, in reality you're gaining it all.

It's letting go of the negativity and being so happy and filled with heavenly joy and strength.

It's closing your eyes everyday to thank God for all He has done for you and committing your life into His hands.

It's knowing He's all you need and your heavenly Father is magnificent and beyond words and comprehension.

It's trusting Him with all you do and knowing that when all else fails HE will never ever fail you.

Finally, it's knowing that only at that point will you truly find happiness and only at that point will you have all you need.

"You, Lord, are all I have, and you give me all I need; my future is in your hands."
Psalm 16:5

Hey honeys! So this my first ever blog post on my first ever blog, terrified is an understatement to describe what I currently feel. Fear stops us from doing a lot of things and I'd rather not have regrets that I know could have been avoided. Who wants to be 60 and asking themselves what they've done with their life? Definitely not me, which is why I've decided to take a risk because truly what's the worst that could happen?

Let's jump right in. Here are some facts about myself. I'm a makeup enthusiast, I love makeup and all things about it. It's an amazing release, you could honestly do so many things with it. It's one of the few things that give me genuine joy. Traveling is also a passion of mine, growing up as a child of a diplomat traveling was mandatory and I fell in love with it. There's honestly a few things better than exploring different countries and cultures. The world is extraordinarily beautiful! However, after leaving home I haven't travelled as much as I would like to but I'm definitely going to change that.

This blog is going to be a mixture of lifestyle, makeup, travel, pretty much myself on a webpage! I really do hope you guys enjoy it as much as I enjoy making it. Hopefully someone would step out of their comfort zone and do what they've been wanting to do. Just remember: You give fear the power to control you. Don't give it that power.

"Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go."

Summer is finally here! It's time to box those coats & thick sweaters to make room for sundresses, shorts & all things body revealing. I'm an avid supporter of women wearing whatever they want to wear. If it makes you feel beautiful and confident - wear it honey! Whether that includes less or more clothing...to each his own, let people enjoy things and be themselves. No need to judge people and make assumptions based on their wardrobe, what sense does that make?

Anyway before I ramble on let me get back to my purpose for this post. Today, I'm telling you about how I officially welcomed summer. It's been horrendously hot and with school pressure it was time to let loose a bit. So what did I do? I went for a pool party! You see parties aren't really my thing of late but with 30+ celsius weather and pre-exam stress the pool was exactly what was needed!

So what goes hand in hand with a pool party? The perfect outfit of course. You see I have a very unhealthy relationship with black, once I go shopping it's all I see. Although, I have been trying to take a break from it and cut back I couldn't resist going monochrome for this. I fell in love with a black leather bikini top the moment I spotted it on the rack. It was the last one and fit like a glove, it was a match made in heaven! I decided to pair it with this black and white miniskirt I had been saving at the back of my closet. Plus with a mesh shirt as a cover up, I knew the outfit was going to be perfect for this.

It was overall a good time, I'm quite happy I opted to go rather than staying home as a usually do. Although, I didn't swim (I could not get my inches wet, lmao) the cool from the pool did help drastically with the weather. I'm ready to have an amazing summer and by the grace of God more exciting things to bring for you guys!

"I know there is nothing better for people than to be happy and to do good while they live. That each of them may eat and drink, and find satisfaction in all their toil - this is the gift of God."
Ecclesiastes 3:12-13
